Cleanings & Exams

One of our most valuable biological practices is performing regular exams and fluoride-free cleanings for your whole family. Just like we love working with our own family at Kogan+Kogan, we love working with your family and loved ones to build optimum oral health for everyone.

That’s why you also go home from each cleaning with a small bag of tools to help you keep the clean going at home: Dr. Bronner’s fluoride-free organic toothpaste, organic and nontoxic WooBamboo antimicrobial toothbrushes, and coconut oil-infused, PFAS- and paraben-free Cocofloss.

We also have Skinny Co. coconut oil available for pulling (a great hygiene boost we recommend).

We suggest cleanings at least every six months, as this also allows us to regularly evaluate your dental health and discuss with you whether any issues may be affecting your systemic or overall health.

Digital X-rays

Unlike many conventional dental offices, where x-rays are routine, here, they’re never routine. We take them only when needed to better examine the health of your teeth, gums, and the underlying bone. When we do, we use only digital imaging, which reduces radiation exposure by as much as 90% compared with film x-rays. We can also recommend homeopathics to offset the small amount of radiation exposure there is.

Biocompatible Fillings, Crowns, & Implants

You’ll not find metal in our office! Dr. Neil and Dr. Matt only use BPA-free tooth-colored composites for all fillings, and biocompatible ceramic for crowns and implants alike. These materials create beautiful, natural-looking restorations and prosthetics, designed to last both biologically and structurally.

Biocompatibility testing is available before placing any restorations or prosthetics – and especially recommended for patients with chronic health issues or a history of sensitivities.

Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal

Mercury is one of the most toxic elements on Earth and particularly harmful when inhaled. Yet mercury vapor is off-gassed from amalgam fillings 24/7.

Ozone Therapy

Pre-Orthodontics with Myobrace

Kogan+Kogan provides state-of-the-art preventive pre-orthodontic treatment for children that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of crooked teeth. Myobrace can prevent the need for braces, allowing for natural growth and development.

Designed for children aged 3-15, Myobrace helps children learn to breathe through their nose, rest the tongue correctly in the roof of the mouth, swallow correctly, and continue widening the dental arches so the jaws grow to their full and proper size. This results in sufficient room for the teeth, allowing them to come in naturally straight and often without the need for braces.
